Are you losing passion for working due to the flood of unwanted runescape player feedback? Honesty time.I did for a while after Endgame. This was partly because of stuff happening IRL in precisely the same time. I did lots of overtime for Endgame (outstanding, notice Jagex discouraged me from doing this I did it myself because I needed to) and I really found myself wondering why I bothered. I'm back to myself and I am reminded I care about runescape and also the community. So I'd say I am awaiting my content and RuneFest and back on track.

Honestly? Yes. I have been furious. I've seen, like rage shattering at some things. Because we care, because we dislike this particular community, or anything like this Nonetheless, it's not, it's simply. The content we create is more than only a job to most of us. It is a creative outlet to actually try and make a part of artwork and place it out there for folks to enjoy. We often slave long hours (note: that the business generally discourages this, tis our own doing) and we really try and go that extra mile to create something we are proud of.

These are only some examples that I can remember, but I am sure when I looked back at upgrades we have released I could find out more. There is a fine line between criticism and then asking for a Jmod to die or lose their job, that's where it becomes too much and if you are someone who's invested a ton of time to content it could really reach them. I had completely innumerable conversations with programmers and made sure to always find comments praising their articles where possible. I know for a fact Jmod interaction is lacking as much because of a fear of negativity, hell before I left I'd still try to answer posts about bugs/issues but I'd still get people saying"why are not you saying anything on the MTX statement?" I do feel sorry for them to an extent since I know they're all enthusiastic, but when there's dominating issues outside their hands sometimes they can't even reply.

The majority of the time it's from people who do not understand a change or upgrade. Just have a look at any RuneScape Facebook post. If you believed reddit was bad.... look at FB. You'll find the actual slime in the bottom of the barrel. Some guy got pissed off since they are phasing out the legacy java client. However, his rant was just like"I just like legacy combat style, so I will quit then. Good one Jagex", and a lot of other things. I meanhe had been complaining about the wrong thing entirely. Didn't read the article.
