Reddit is the only site which has multi-level nested comments and does not require users to make an account to view content. Discord requires people to join, and it is just impossible to have a discussion at a Twitter thread. I would like if they used Reddit for all. Their website is atrocious. Every single time I Google a query and discover what looks like a post answering precisely what I'm searching for, the dialogue has been automatically deleted because of age. Why bother having forums? RSWiki is full size Romper Room of political ass-kissing, Reddit appears to be professional by comparison (yes, there's lots of nonsense here, but not insider vandalism), then there is all the SM feeds that there is not any search index / Google.
It is different, I'd say a tweet in the official RS accounts is about equal to a post on reddit. A tweet in the JMod has roughly zero validity however and shouldn't be relied upon as a means of getting information to the runescape players. Ideally anything important would find a news article which would subsequently be shared through the right channels (Facebook/Twitter/Reddit). While anything minor could be posted on the official forums, (along with a much needed update) and from there published to third party sites. Would be the best we 20, however since we know that won't occur using reddit.
Kinda off-topic, yet this nerf for"balancing" purposes is kinda questionable. Sheeps who charge you and 30 can sell them for a gain of 50 beans in stage. Then we come at cattle who cost 100 (like frogs) and who can be marketed for 70 additional beans in an adolescence stage, whereas hens only gives 8 beans. If you really wish to get in touch with customer support (rather than a bot) you can do this via support jagex. There's no way to find out this email as their their contact page shows shows it.
The official Jagex site does neither state this email anywhere, nor does a pretty simple Google search query. Most links on the contact service page redirect you to a form you have to complete and which frequently result to an automatic response, which in my past were 100% denied until I did via email and an actual human being hunted into several cases I reported to Jagex, all these led me speaking 100 percent the truth. If that this subreddit is really so against rule #7, then they should always hide/delete any posts regarding customer service and bugs.
Even this subreddit account help doesn't state this specific email address, odd, rather almost as if they never tried out customer support for themselves, nor can't relate how awful it's to get into contact with an actual human being. We come to bugs, account help also say this and how it is done (leads to a busted link btw) so I would suggest, remove the bug flair and hide/delete all bug posts as this subreddit is not meant as a bug report/ticket system, since you ought to be able to do this all via the in-game bug report"attribute". The obvious answer here is no and in a recent post of mine. I should not have to rely on emails to figure out how my bug report's status is doing needing a Reddit post to describe myself.
