The primary focus of our research is to define the role/mechanism of naturally occurring and inducible regulatory CD4 lymphocytes in Cardiac Allograft Vasculopathy (CAV) using a unique murine model of chronic rejection. There will also be opportunities available for clinical research (i.e. investigating our experience with heart and lung transplantation)and other forms of clinical involvement.
