    The Mount Sinai School of Medicine wishes to announce that it has been awarded funding by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) for a 3-year, post-residency, fellowship-training program in pediatric environmental health. This program provides training in epidemiology, biostatistics, toxicology, risk assessment and preventive medicine and leads to a Master of Public health (MPH) degree. Up to two positions are available each academic year.

    Fellows gain clinical experience in environmental pediatrics through our CDC-supported Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit. They gain mentored training in clinical research, policy development and evidence-based advocacy. Fellows’ mentored research project serves as their MPH thesis.
