Fellows will be able to work with senior faculty on animal models (acute and survival) and actively participate in clinical trials. The area of research extends from endoluminal therapeutic endoscopy to transgastric, transvaginal, and transcolonic procedures. They will also learn how to write grant proposals and to successfully complete IRB and ACUC protocols. As far as I know people here prepare for a period of 4 to 6 months for each step to really get good score. Acually what happens is that you schedule the exam date, hoping to finish in 4 months but at the end of the time you feel you are not yet ready and so you will postpone it. So you can have a rough idea of 4-6 months but take as long as you need. Afterall no one asks how long you prepared but HOW MUCH YOU SCORED!!!!!  less
